Message From Chief
District Agriculture Development Office, Lamjung as part of its annual function, has been developing "Official Website" in the fiscal year 2015/016 with the aim of providing better and useful agricultural information of Lamjung district. It is hoped that this url which will be presented in comprehensive way encompassing updated data and information relating to Lamjung's agricultural sector and other sectors related to it, will be of value in order to fulfill some of the information need of farmers, journalists, politicians, development workers engaged in agricultural planning, monitoring and policy making issues as well as food security related aspects of the district.
I would like to extend my appreciation to office staffs for their technical contribution in bringing out this issue in this design. I would also like to acknowledge MOAD, Kathmandu, DOA, Lalitpur, RAD, Pokhara and other governmental & non-governmental agencies for their support in providing the necessary information.
I welcome suggestions and comments from the users for further improvement of this publication.
